the enjoyity of posting pictures

this day is coming close to becoming an officially unproductive day. i think the only thing productive that i did was sleep. yes, i slept for too long and yes that makes me sad. i slept for almost 12 hours. that's half my day. besides sleeping, the other portion until this moment was spent lingering around the house, eating, laundry, and attempting to do my prelab. my initial goal was to do my prelab, do my E8 study guide and study it. i'm 0 for 3 right now. on top of that, i estimated my bio midterm grade based on the key that was posted online. that didn't go so well either, but thanks anyways for the prayers everyone. so here i am blogging, watching the time pass away wondering why i'm a bio major and whether i should switch before my GPA knocks me over the head. besides that i got a few things i said i'd blog about...so here it goes.

apparently the new word is "enjoyity," which according to biencess is interchangable with enjoyment. she says, "i ruffle dumo's feathers for my own enjoyity."

so for you enjoyity only, i present to you some overdue pics. i would post them all but then that'd be another pic post overload. hopefully in the next week or so i will have posted all the pics i would have normally posted in one blog.

here's the batch from the p.bay/shawshank christmas gift exchange, which actually took place at the end of january.

the night started off relatively normal with angie falling down the stairs as we were about to go meet the p.bay residents at TGIFridays. and by normal, i mean not normal.

we just don't know what happened.

eventually we all made it safe to TGIFridays. you can clearly tell we are there based on the table setting (red and white stripes) we all know so very well.

yet the rest of the picture seems normal.
i.e. kathee filling her camera with memories and meechy posing for 2 pics at once.
(hmm...the power of my camera.
who needs a new camera when u have a minolta.)

i think they're trying to figure out what to get.

the excitement before the gifts are opened.

so now i bring you to the opening of the presents in the order they were received in. meaning the person prior to each new person in a picture is the one who gave it to the person in the pic. hope that made sense.

it started off with me presenting kay with her gift.

sidenote: i love mysteriously well wrapped gifts. for example in this picture several items individually wrapped in a very large box filled with styrofoam. sooo fun!

and thus concludes our christmas exchange. fun stuff indeed. the exciting thing to think about is the fact that as we passed around each others gifts, the process never stopped. by that i mean it was a circle of gifts. and by that i mean, i started the process by handing my present to kay and i was also the last person to receive my gift. yay for full circles! that is all.

ps. oh and just so that there's no confusion. kay wasn't actually at the gift exchange altho i made it appear that way. it's more of an illusion. like a play on the lights. or a mixture of mirrors and smoke. kay was there in spirit and the powers of my camera caught that. i told you my camera is powerful.

haha, j/k. if u think about it, meechy was actually sitting in the spot kay is seen sitting at and that guitar is no longer there. that pic is actually from last year's gift exchange if u were wondering. okay, that's all.
