noodle soup
i've been meaning to do this since friday, but for some reason i haven't. well now i finally am. i only wanted to say that i am done with my first quarter of college and that i have approximately 11 more quarters to go. kinda scary, but seems exciting...and i guess i'm up for the challenge.
i'm really amazed at how fast the quarter went. one moment i'm trying to find a lecture hall, the next moment i'm leaving that same lecture hall handing in my final. when i was in high school, frances used to tell me that 10 weeks goes by very fast. i used to think, "10 weeks, that's pretty long." oh, little did i know.
*sigh* i feel like a lot has changed in these past weeks. just a personal outlook on life and the past. it doesn't matter that it's only been 10 weeks, i somehow still managed to grow. i would like to say more, but no words are coming to mind right now or there are, but no in complete sentences. ok, well all i know is that i'm still young and have much to learn, living with a now official college graduate and 4 fourth years helps to remind me that. (not that they're old or anything because they aren't, they're young, i just happen to be a little younger.) it's been a good 10 weeks with no regrets and great memories. thanks to everyone for being so welcoming, especially the residents of shawshank, because it really has helped me a lot in this so called "transitioning period." here's to more good times and chicken soup!
mmm...noodle soup...i mean soup...i mean chicken noodle soup...argh!
