no, i did not win
today i tried to play tennis. first of all, i'm terrible and it hurts. second of all, 1030am is a really bad time to play these days. and third of all, the city of rancho cucamonga needs more open tennis courts. (forgive me for my few complaints.)
a few buddies of mine intended to play at 9, however the courts we normally go to were filled. so we waited a bit, then decided to check out this neighborhood's court, but of course it was locked. then we went to my old high school, but with all our luck in the world, my old coach and some players were washing them down. we headed to another high school about 5 mins away, but those were locked as well. finally we went to the local community college's tennis courts and woohoo they were open and empty. but of course it was already 1030 by then and the sun was blazing, 101 degrees blazing...making the tennis courts about 111 degrees. now 2 years ago, i could have cared less about the heat and i would have played just fine (not really, but somehow i did it); however, today i simply couldn't. the sun beat me bad, but don't worry cuz it took me up on a rematch which is scheduled for tomorrow. we'll see how i do. anyways, surprisingly my friends and i lasted about 40 mins. then we made our way to get some smoothies...mmm. and finally when i arrived home, to my delight, my dad bought some pastrami sandwiches. :) so all in all, good day, with the exception that absolutely no tennis was shown today due to rain in NY (grr). in the end, i gathered my losses, put them into a delicious pastrami sandwich, and ate them for a late lunch. that makes absolutely no sense, but don't worry, it's alright with me.
good night ladies and gentlemen, it's been a lovely evening and a wonderful night! (good ol' michael buble and his PBS special)

tell me about it...no tennis yesterday...my cable's weird so i was totally looking forward to watching on cbs all day today but shucks...i hope no rain delay today, hehe
guess who's gonna get cable and can watch the us open during the week
