so i downloaded "the weather channel desktop" onto my computer. it's quite neat. i have the exact temperature on my desktop right now and it says that it's 61 degrees. the problem now is that it keeps blinking red. you the icons in the lower right side of your screen...ya that's where the blinking is. it's starting to annoy me because it distracts me from what i'm doing. well, apparently it does that when there's a severe weather alert. i clicked on it hoping the blinking would stop but it just said this:

Orange county Coastal Areas - San Diego County Coastal Areas - San Bernardino and Riverside County Valleys - The Inland Empire - Sand Diego County Valleys - etc. (there are many more places)

ok, so i'm not going to type up the whole thing because it's pretty long. it goes on to talk about snow levels and motorist traveling through the mountains. i just wish it'd stop blinking, that's all. i apologize for this completely useless post and for wasting your time, but if ever u want to know the temperature right away, just ask me cuz it's right here on my computer. i could also provide u with traffic details. technically u could do the same on weather.com or sigalert.com, but i find it really cool that it's right here on my screen and i don't have to click anywhere.
