enunciate
haven't blogged in awhile. really i don't have much to say. i only want to post pictures, but currently i'm in cca and also, i haven't even found time load the pictures from my camera to my hard drive. well, maybe i've had a few minutes here and there, but not a large chunk of time. anyways, pictures are great, my camera is great...these are great times indeed. in the short time that i've had it since it got fixed i think there are some pretty good photos. **wink, wink** of course, like always, some people (i'm not gonna name any names) attempt to delete pictures off my camera. i do not approve...haha.
ok, i don't have anything else to talk about. currently i'm trying to memorize/practice my speech. it's about barongs. it's due at approximately 4pm today, but i don't know the exact time i will be saying it. i think what i'm finding difficult is saying it smoothly and enunciating everything correctly. i tend to mumble a lot, not just in speeches, but when i'm talking to people anywhere. my parents used to say, "you have a lazy mouth." i think they're right, but today, i won't. today i will speak slowly and confidently. today i will pronounce words correctly. today i will remember what i need to say. today, i will win!! haha, that's my little motivational speech at the moment.
i think when i motivate myself in regards to public speaking i think about my 8th grade graduation speech. at the time, i didn't know i had it in me, but apparently i did, cuz my parents said i did an awesome job. usually they're pretty particular on public speaking or speaking in general so if they said i did a good job, then i think i did. overall, what they say to me often matters the most. so here's to confidence and keeping it cool while i'm in front of everyone! :)
well, i'm gonna get back to practicing. i'm reading it out loud to a wall in the booth. i'm actually starting to wish i practiced it in front of my roommates. you're right abby, i should've just practiced in front of you guys. oh well, i have 3 other speeches to practice with you as my audience. until then, it's just the empty cca booth and me.
