summer has arrived

it's going to be the first day of summer tomorrow or actually in a few minutes. so i believe that makes tomorrow the longest day of the year. how exciting, but not really. ok, maybe it's partially exciting because that means the sun's going to be out longer, which makes me happy. (i'm afraid of the dark.) but partially not exciting cuz that means that it's going to be hotter longer. well not necessarily, but maybe. i don't know it's just hot and the stuffiness makes it hard for me to breath, dang allergies. i used to dream about waking up without a stuffy nose...but that was just a dream. i wonder what it would be like...i can only imagine. haha, oh well, no big.

so today was pretty good, not completely unproductive. i played tennis w/ some old friends. fun stuff, but really hot. i got darker. :( i attempted to read. and somehow i don't remember anything else i did today. i think sometimes i just linger around the house walking aimlessly from room to room, hoping something's going to change and i'm going to have to rearrange it. it's rather sad, but i suppose the walking is better than just sitting.

oh so today my lil cousin graduated from elementary school...Los Amigos. (yes, that's the actually name of the school.) I graduated from there long ago. he's 10 and already the same height as frances and me, tis crazy. i just pray that he continues in his studies and works hard because i know he's smart and tries real hard to do things. he's cool and i pray that as he heads into the crazy teenage years that he'll stay that way and as his cousin, i can help guide him.

well i don't have much else to say. sorry these blogs aren't too interesting. maybe i'll go on an adventure and come back with many things to report. aww...yesss, i can see it now...backpacking my way through europe or scuba diving in the great barrier reef or sumsing like that. oh well i think i can have a seriously out of this world adventure right here. plus i save money. so here's to adventure right here in ontario/irvine, CA. hmm...i think now i'm just throwing out sentences. the quote, "to live would be an awfully great adventure," comes to mind. or was it "to die?" i don't remember. alright i've probably written enough nonsense for the moment. so farewell. hope u have a lovely night and first day of summer tomorrow!
