happy birthday bernie! miss ya, and i hope you have a safe
flight to mexico! see ya when you get back so we can do our
second 09 hangout!

so france just won. i guess i'll be rooting for italy, which
means italy's gonna lose. i'm sorry if there are any italy
fans, but for some reason once i take a side, it's all over
for that side. that's just how my luck goes. i could secretly
pretend i'm rooting for france, but that never works cuz my
heart is really going for italy. i don't even watch soccer, so i
don't actually have a legitmate reason for rooting for italy.

in other sports: angels ended up winning the freeway series
against dodgers this past weekend!! woohoo! i guess i really
am bad luck when i watch their games. i heard that someone
even stole home base (like rookie of the year status) on
sunday's game. man, soo good!

in another sport: i'm hoping for a sharapova vs. henin-hardenne
final. and then i'm thinking that henin-hardenne's gonna win.
the semi-finals for women's is pretty exciting so we'll see what
happens. for men, i don't know what's going on, but federer will
probably win. dang, no american's to be found, so sad. (this
pertains to tennis btw)

ok, so this wasn't actually an update on my life, just an update
on sports i watch or really don't watch. i don't have much to
say. it's been a fun couple of days...birthdays (including
America's) and adventures with family and friends with a touch
of fireworks. sorry no pictures in this entry, but maybe later. alright,
