hmm...let's see...oh where to begin since my last entry.
haha, so mexican food from mexico = AWESOME!!! i'm not gonna lie, i gained a total of 7 pounds from my trip to mexico over spring break. eating 3 delicious meals everyday for 7 days can do that to you. (fyi, the carne asada is amazing over there.) as of right now i've already lost 5 of those pounds just by moving back to my irvine diet. however i do believe i might have to start exercising to lose those 2 other pounds. i considered going to the arc this week but the desire slowly faded as the week continued. perhaps i'll try again during week 2.
speaking of week 2. i've finally started my final quarter at UCI. as anna and i ventured off on our first day, abby said, "have a good last first day of school!" haha, although it wasn't my actual last first day of school in life, it was my last first day of school at UCI. oh how i'll miss the unusually shaped circle i walk around on monday thru friday. okay, actually i don't see myself missing the campus, nor any particular building on it at all. however, i might miss the fact that when i leave any building on the UCI campus i can find myself within a few feet of a park and possibly a friendly, yet familiar face. anyways, i'm mentally counting down the weeks til graduation (10 more weeks). i'm very excited to turn the page and end this chapter of my life. not because it's a crappy chapter, but because i'm eager to see what's next. i know i'm only moving back home to work and apply to pharmacy school, but it's still something new because much of the dynamics of my home have changed since i graduated high school. or at least i'd like to believe it's changed. i mean it has been 4 years and a lot can happen in 4 years. all in all, i still foresee more changes in the near future.
i mean in all this change, i am sad, but who wouldn't be? i guess i try not the think about the fact that in a couple months i will no longer be an inmate at shawshank...again, nor will i be roommates with 2 of the "coolest first years ever!" (inside joke, sorry) oh and i will no longer get to smell the cookies and other delicious foods my awesome next door roommate makes. nor will i be able to get a laugh out of the random comments and conversations my upstairs roommates have. oh and of course i'm failing to mention a lot of other things and people i will miss in irvine. proximity makes a big difference in a person's life. but even with all that i'm slowly allowing the excitement to outweigh the sadness. i'm also hoping that the next couple months are placed as distinctly exciting times in my memory bank.
anyways, i must not forget that i am still in school and thus i must study. yes, i know we barely just ended week 1, but there are always things to study for when you really think about it. besides i want my last quarter at UCI to end well. basically, i don't want to leave UCI the same way i came in. so here i go...
good day!
