flip-flops

i took one punch at her. she moved to her left, blocking her face. then with her left hand pushed my upper arm down and forced her right forearm across my neck.

the blow to my neck hurt the most. but it was all in good fun. had my dad seen it he would've scolded us...haha. anyways, my brief story there describes one of the defense moves frances has learned. she randomly "teaches" me the moves she's been learning from her defense class. and by teaches i actually mean uses me for practice.

as interesting as the defense moves are, i don't think i'm coordinated enough to learn them. cuz it's kinda like dancing and well, i'm not much of a dancer. i do think some of the moves are pretty cool, but i usually don't remember any of them.

anyways, i had a weird dream about disneyland last night. i lost my flip-flops and there was a nun. there are actually more details, which are somewhat difficult for me to describe via blogger. so if you care, just ask. speaking of disneyland, i want to go...even just for a little bit. mainly i want to go because i don't think i've ever visited during halloween. i just want to take a look at the decorations and such. so let's go before the end of the month!

as for everything else in life, i'm just happy to be at home right now. although i have to return to irvine tomorrow, i feel this weekend will push me into studying gear...well hopefully. i can't exactly make any promises yet, but i do have more of a desire to learn. i haven't exactly caught up in all of my reading, but really when is that ever possible. well, i hope you're all having a wonderful weekend!! :D

p.s. have fun in new york, kathee and kirs! :)

and happy belated birthday marites, julian, and janice!!!
