ok, so i'm a bit nervous and anxious. i don't do well when it comes to travelling...as surprising as this may be, i get very paranoid when i travel, even when i travel with friends and family. and it's just my luck that i know absolutely no one going on this trip. yay for meeting new people while going to a country i've never been before, right?! oh, did i mention i suck at speaking spanish and learning foreign languages in general! haha, i promise you, i'm actually more optimistic about this trip then i sound. :D
anyways, as nervous as i feel, i am even more excited about this trip. i'm really looking forward to taking this step. it's definitely a direction i've been interested in for about over 3 years now. so to finally be doing this is very very very exciting. lucky for me this is only for 9 days, but hey, a lot can happen in 9 days! with that said, expect lots of stories! i'll try to document as many as i can by photo or writing. otherwise, let's hope my memory doesn't fail me!
so wish me luck and please pray for me as take a leap into the unknown!
p.s. for those that don't know, i'm going to Nicaragua for a global medical training program.
p.p.s. as a side note, i'm pretty bummed out about missing the U.S. Open finals this weekend and losing 9 days of working on my pharmacy applications, but i know this is worth it. i'll definitely be needing prayers for when i get back cuz i'm really cutting it close with those applications...lol.
okay, that's all. see you when i get back!
