Good afternoon! actually it's still good morning, but i feel like it's the afternoon already. i'm not sure why.
so i'm pretty bummed out that no one blogs anymore. okay, maybe like 3 or 4 people still update regularly, but that's still not that much. i mean, when anna doesn't blog regularly then you know something crazy is going on in the blogging world. i just realized i sound like gp 3 years ago when he kept calling people out on not blogging anymore and yes, 3 years later not much has changed. in fact i think people blog even less these days. i'm not saying that blogging should be a priority, but after reading my morning news sometimes i like reading what my friends are up too. maybe it's just a sign that i should call people more often to find out what's going on instead of reading publicized feelings and actions. part of me wants to stop blogging too even though i've been on a blogging streak. i swear i blog more now then i did the last 2 years of college. and these days, i live at home, where not much happens. you might think it's because of all the extra time i have on my hands (which is part of it), but i also think it's because i use it as a form of socializing. of course it's only one way, which sucks, but hey i'm not very fond of phones or aim, so this is what i get. bringing this on myself i suppose...haha.
anyways, i finally deleted my myspace account. took me long enough. i used to check that thing every 3 or 4 months just out of curiosity. now i don't have to look at that networking site with way too many advertisements anymore. =) although facebook annoys me too sometimes with the advertisements and all its applications. would it be weird that i'm having thoughts of deleting my facebook?! it's odd, but i feel like disappearing, which is what i feared would happen once i moved home. it's the antisocial, introverted side of me. though it's not official til the end of august, i'm feeling the strong effects of moving home already. oh well, maybe when i start taking classes again in a couple weeks i'll snap out of this. haha, oh phases in life.
in other news, i can't believe it's august. summer is somewhat still at its peak, but i can feel it winding down slowly. the close of summer is like a scary reality check since i'm not going back to irvine and the future seems fuzzy.
okay, well there's my extremely uneventful morning update. good day!
p.s. i really want the u.s open to start now. reading tennis news is not as exciting as watching tennis become news.
