as of tomorrow i will have moved out of shawshank officially...twice. during my last night there, as an "official roommate," i slept on the floor. okay, well i slept on a mattress that was on the floor. fyi krystle diane, i slept in your bed. =/ sorry. anyways, as i was lying there i realized that i entered and left shawshank exactly the same. what i mean is that in august 2005 i spent my first night at shawshank. that night, i slept in that same room, in a sleeping bag, on the floor, with my feet facing the bathroom. four years later, last thursday night, i fell asleep on a mattress, on the floor, with my feet facing the bathroom. i guess in the end it's all rather fitting. coming and going in somewhat of a similar fashion. maybe the fact that i moved from a sleeping bag to a mattress is sign of growth...haha! i can only hope, but who knows?! all i know is that shawshank definitely has good times written all over the it...you just have to scrape off the white paint. so thank you cristina, angie, kay, kathee, and frances for letting me live there the first time. and thank you anna, abby, kim, krystle, and jamie for agreeing to live with me there the second time. it's been fun...seriously! and now, i shall make my transition to being a recurring guest on the sitcom of shawshank.

yes, shawshank is a sitcom...not a drama. you know, more of a tbs and not a tnt...

at least that's what i've always liked to believe. =)
