Ba-da ba ba-da ba ba da!

i've developed a routine. i drive to work. listen to paramore's new soundtrack. short soundtrack so i usually end up finishing the album with or without traffic. the music pumps me up even though it's more of a rocky, angry kind of sound. i work. then i drive home from work. listen to colbie's new soundtrack. long soundtrack so i usually end up finishing the album with traffic. the music relaxes me though that's dangerous cuz of the traffic and the potential for a fender bender.

anyways, that's how my work days are. today when i was driving home, i missed my exit. damnit colbie...you distracted me. i was singing along and then suddenly i was at archibald already. almost missed that one too. you see, my exit is vineyard or 4th depending on how i'm feeling. i was kinda bummed out about the missed exit just cuz i don't like wasting gas. i try to keep things as efficient as possible. call it a weakness and strength in one.

so i shall continue with some more work stories just cuz that's all i've got today.

story #4: make sure you have health insurance! a woman had to pay $207 for her medicine since she didn't have insurance. of course it was for 100 tablets of ritalin, but still...that's a lot of money for medicine that you could pay less for. unless she's selling it and making more money then spending...hmmm. you never know.

story #5: a guy walked in with a prescription for ambien (sleeping pills). while i was ringing up his medicine, i discovered that he was soo stressed out that he hadn't slept in 8 days. no sleep for EIGHT DAYS. this is a warning to anna, do NOT stress out too much...i don't want to fill a prescription of sleeping pills for you! haha, j/k. but seriously! oh and he was stressed out because he's been working on a project for work. apparently if the project isn't amazing...he could lose he's job. talk about reason to be stressed...poor guy and poor world. prayers all around!

story #6: read the directions for medicine. also, read the directions for elderly patients...please. apparently this elderly woman was taking 4 tablets of loratadine (claritin) at one time. fyi, you're only suppose to take loratadine once a day. she was over dosing on an antihistamine so she was having rapid heart beats. *sigh* i felt really bad, but luckily the pharmacist called her and informed her how to properly take the medicine and to stop taking it for a couple days.

yup, those are my pharmacy stories for now.

oh and today i got to each lunch with a few alternative break friends. hadn't seen any of them for months...well since january?...i think. it was cool catching up and all, but i couldn't stay long cuz i had work. we had indian food. $8.99 buffet for lunch. that was the first time i ate indian food. not bad...not bad at all, but sadly i don't think i'll be craving for it anytime soon.

alright, i'm out. good night!

p.s. i tried that "crunchie" candy i mentioned last time. yup...kind of a disappointment. :/ time to try a new candy. :)
