i finally watched harry potter! and well, of course, i liked it! i wouldn't expect myself not to enjoy any harry potter film. although it's most definitely not a feel good movie. in fact i found myself in a very reflective mood after we walked out of the theater. i didn't even care to touch base with frances on the various parts of the movie. and leave it to me to be caught driving during one of my reflective moments. i'm telling you, car drives on the freeway, at night, alone, basically set the perfect environment for thinking. anyways, the line that stuck out to me that night was...
"how can a love remain so faithful to one unfaithful?"
it comes off to me as a meaningful question. i've heard it over and over, and at times i hardly notice the line and other times it shouts out to me. and it's not that i'm particularly guilty or "unfaithful." i think what hits me is the part about love. i want to love that way, but the more i read the statement, the more unfaithful i feel. and the truth is, i am the unfaithful one. but for me to love faithfully, i have to be faithful.
