sour patch kids candy is totally letting me down right now. i've eaten at least 5 pieces that have no sugar on them. of course this is an 8oz bag, but this has never happened to me before. usually all pieces have an evenly based amount of sour sugar. looks like the sugar coating inspectors aren't doing their jobs right or maybe sour patch had some cutbacks, much like the rest of the world, and some inspectors were let go. well, thus continues the deterioration of quality.

anyways, i gave up sour candy for Lent and have officially gone back to my cavity filled ways. my teeth actually started to hurt since i started eating sour candy again so i took a break yesterday from eating sour candy and guess what, they're better so i decided to continue eating my bag of sour patch kids again. but seriously, i gotta watch out for those cavities (mostly cuz i don't think i have dental insurance anymore...not sure tho.)

in other news, i'm starting to really like the show "traffic light". it's on fox, but i've been watching it on hulu. it's not "laugh out loud" funny or anything like that, it's just more of a...well, can't actually describe it very well. i just like the show. but i don't want to get too invested because we all know that show's easily come and go. and honestly, it's almost impossible to like a successful show from the beginning these days.

but i'm getting off the subject. i started apt/housing hunting today. checked out craigslist, some ucsf housing website and some other housing website. and then i stopped. but i did fill out an application for on campus housing. i'm no good at this apt hunting business especially when it comes to apt hunting in the city. i was blessed that when i went to UCI it all kind of worked out cuz my sister is awesome...as were the ladies of Shawshank pt. 1! i mean i just had to move in...how cool is that! anyways, perhaps i need to find a roommate, which i attempted to do by perusing future classmate's facebooks, but the privacy settings are hard to overcome. so then i stopped doing that too. no worries tho, i'm not giving up because well, i can't. i will find housing!...great housing at that!...and for a reasonable price. :)

oh and one last thing, i tried frostbites for the first time last night. i have to admit i really liked it. of course the fact that it's italian ice based is in automatic win for me. afterall, i love slushy's, icee's, and those sort of sugary icey desserts. yum! thanks mel, julian, and hazel!
