city lights & traffic sounds

interestingly enough, there are no city lights and traffic sounds where i live. somehow when i thought about living in an apartment or studio in san francisco i imagined city lights and traffic sounds. actually, had i lived closer to campus i'm sure there'd be much more noise. or so my classmates have told me. apparently the muni that passes near the campus starts running again at about 5am. i actually live in a quiet neighborhood pass all the muni noise of irving street. it's nice, but sometimes it can be a bit too quiet for my taste. i'm used to hearing tid bits of sirens and trains passing through. but all is well...i honestly can't complain. i like where i live, but sometimes i wish i picked a place closer to campus. hmm...maybe next year?

anyways, today was my first day of pharmacy school so i felt inclined to blog. honestly there isn't much to report. had 4 classes, met my p2 advisor (p2 means second year pharmacy student, i'm a p1 right now,) got a free lunch, ate a free dinner too, and came home. oh and did i mention my p2 advisor is MM!! :) for some reason, i kind of predicted she would be my p2 advisor...haha! so all is well. of course, as anticipated, i'm a little overwhelmed. lots to take in with the classes, IPPE, IHPE, organizations, new people, and tons of events. and i thought undergrad was a lot to take in. either way, i know i'll figure things out in time. it's just tough to sift through everything right now. i think i'm yearning for a definite schedule and i don't think that's going to happen for another couple weeks. so bear with me.

there's more i want to talk about, but it's getting late and frankly i love to sleep. so hopefully i'll blog again soon.
